From Bienfaiteur // Encounter with Gabriel Orozco

Galerie Chantal Crousel welcomes Gabriel Orozco's eighth solo exhibition in Paris, with a unique selection of new works. Drawings and watercolours, temperas on canvas and paintings on wood will be presented with a common approach: that of the imprint of the landscape and plants from the gardens of Acapulco and Mexico. Diario de plantas will take us back to Gabriel Orozco's fascination with the organic, its complexities and its unstable nature, to his love for the elusive and immediate gesture that has so often been depicted in his notebooks. In a way, this new series is also about absence, loss and always, the abstract.
