The first co-chaired Dîner des Amis with The Amis du Centre Pompidou and The American Friends of the Centre Pompidou. The American Friends of the Centre Pompidou is the legacy of the Beaubourg Foundation, founded by Dominique de Ménil in 1977, the same year that the Centre Pompidou first opened its doors. The Amis du Centre Pompidou wish to recognize the American Friends of the Centre Pompidou for their pivotal and continuous support of the enrichment of the national collections.
