The mahJ presents the first exhibition in France dedicated to the Israeli artist Noa Eshkol (Degania, 1924 – Holon, 2007). A pioneer of modern dance and a choreographer, she was also a prodigious textile artist. The exhibition highlights her work from the 1950s to the 2000s, ranging from her choreographic compositions to her famous Wall Carpets, through drawings, photographs, and videos.

Since the 1970s, Anthony McCall has been creating immersive works in which beams of light sculpt the space and become visible through the mist.
Straddling the boundaries between cinema, sculpture and performance, his work invites the viewer to move through the light itself. His pieces, often minimalist in nature, transform our perception of space and time. Anthony McCall is now a leading figure in the international contemporary art scene, with his work widely exhibited in museums.

Sara Ouhaddou explores the links between craftsmanship, language and social structures. She regularly collaborates with craftspeople to produce works that revive traditional techniques whilst subverting them.
Through textiles, ceramics and invented writing systems, she questions cultural norms and the mechanisms of transmission. Her pieces often play on the ambiguity between legible signs and abstract forms. Her practice, which is both conceptual and rooted in the physical act of making, is now gaining increasing recognition on the contemporary art scene.
