Absent from the Opéra national de Paris for over thirty years, Les Brigands storms the Palais Garnier for the first time with Barrie Kosky's new staging. Kosky, a great fan of Offenbach's music, who sees in this zany comedy a proximity to Dadaism, recreates the rhythm and madness of a joyously amoral society in this production.
