Nestor Perkal is a versatile artist whose career began in the 1970s. As a designer of furniture, objects and lighting, interior architect, set designer, exhibition curator and artistic director, his career spans over more than 45 years. In 1978, having just graduated, he left his native Argentina to settle in France. He flourished, first in Paris as an independent designer, where he opened several galleries, while publishing his own pieces of furniture. Then, in Limoges, he joined the public sector as director of Craft, a research centre for the fire and clay arts. He continues to collaborate and maintain loyal relationships with a number of creators, designers and artists, as well as manufacturers, sponsors and collectors to this day.
