Comics 1964-2024

The Centre Pompidou is celebrating the 9th art form in all its spaces, and on all levels. A major exhibition on level 6, "Comics 1964 - 2024", takes visitors on a journey through the modern and contemporary history of the medium. Immerse yourself in a wide range of worlds, from Franco-Belgian ligne claire to Japanese manga, from the graphic proliferation of the underground to the most abstract contemporary styles. The exhibition is designed to be as diverse as possible, presenting large groups of plates, cover drawings, notebooks and documentation.
