The Centre Pompidou is celebrating the 9th art form in all its spaces, and on all levels. A major exhibition on level 6, "Comics 1964 - 2024", takes visitors on a journey through the modern and contemporary history of the medium. Immerse yourself in a wide range of worlds, from Franco-Belgian ligne claire to Japanese manga, from the graphic proliferation of the underground to the most abstract contemporary styles. The exhibition is designed to be as diverse as possible, presenting large groups of plates, cover drawings, notebooks and documentation.

Brazilian multidisciplinary artist Sonia Gomes gave up her career as a lawyer in the 1990s to devote herself to art. She enrolled in the art course at the Guignard School at Minas Gerais State University (UEMG), where she studied from 1995 to 1997. S. Gomes' sculptural objects draw on natural elements as well as stories and practices historically associated with the female world and Afro-Brazilian tradition. Les Amis invites you to meet her at the exhibition dedicated to her at Galerie Mendes Wood DM, place des Vosges.
