Villa Emerige is opening its doors to a solo exhibition by painter Christian Bonnefoi, organised in collaboration with Galerie Poggi. A descendant of the Minimalisms of the 1970s, Christian Bonnefoi's work is based on a radical approach to the disarticulation and re-articulation of the components of painting. In parallel with the exhibition at the Galerie Poggi, Christian Bonnefoi is exhibiting a unique and original body of work: large-format works produced since 1983, alongside collages and delicate compositions on painted silk paper.

In anticipation of its future art and solidarity centre La Collective, Thanks for Nothing is presenting its first international exhibition, focusing on socially engaged practices linked to Abya Yala, a Kuna term referring to Central and South America as a constellation of sovereign, non-colonial spaces. Developed over three years by independent curator Ilaria Conti, the exhibition highlights multidisciplinary practices linked to Abya Yala (a Kuna term referring to Central and South America as a constellation of sovereign, non-colonial or decolonial spaces). The invited practices are committed to ethical forms of relationship and epistemic justice - in short, they are characterised by a commitment to community.

Ittah Yoda is a duo made up of Virgile Ittah and Kai Yoda, based in Paris, Berlin and Tokyo. Born of mutual support during their studies at the Royal College of Art, they combine their multiple cultural experiences with the construction of virtual worlds and advanced visual research to produce multisensory installations. Ittah Yoda's work is self-generating, citing itself while progressively expanding into new realms with each collaboration, whether with an artificial intelligence, a craftsman, a technician, an author, a bug, environmental conditions or non-human life. Ittah Yoda seeks to generate both aesthetic and therapeutic experiences that would restructure modes of communication between human and non-human beings, favoring a symbiotic rather than hierarchical model.
