Ittah Yoda's Studio

Ittah Yoda is a duo made up of Virgile Ittah and Kai Yoda, based in Paris, Berlin and Tokyo. Born of mutual support during their studies at the Royal College of Art, they combine their multiple cultural experiences with the construction of virtual worlds and advanced visual research to produce multisensory installations. Ittah Yoda's work is self-generating, citing itself while progressively expanding into new realms with each collaboration, whether with an artificial intelligence, a craftsman, a technician, an author, a bug, environmental conditions or non-human life. Ittah Yoda seeks to generate both aesthetic and therapeutic experiences that would restructure modes of communication between human and non-human beings, favoring a symbiotic rather than hierarchical model.
