On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the death of Pablo Picasso (1881-1973), the Centre Pompidou, in collaboration with the Musée National Picasso-Paris, is highlighting the most prolific part of his creative output: drawing, the site of constantly renewed invention, from his early studies to his final works. Nearly a thousand works - notebooks, drawings and engravings - are brought together, from recognized masterpieces to drawings presented for the first time, offering a kind of compulsively kept diary.
