In February 2023, the Centre Pompidou became the first institution dedicated to modern and contemporary art to acquire a body of work dealing with the relationships between blockchain and artistic creation, including its first NFTs. In all, eighteen projects by thirteen French and international artists have entered the collection. Drawn from diverse practices and cultures such as crypto art and the visual arts and new media, these works will be on display at the Museum until January 22, 2024.
