Miriam Cahn, Ma pensée sérielle

The exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo is the first major retrospective devoted to Miriam Cahn's work in a French institution, bringing together over two hundred of her works from 1980 to the present day. Portraits, landscapes, history paintings, as well as private and collective works, are combined to form an organic whole. The challenge of Miriam Cahn's work does not lie in any quest for balance but rather in the search for plastic and spatial embodiments of the intensity and chaos of the world.
