Paris+ by Art Basel is a new modern and contemporary art event that will take
place from 20 to 23 October 2022 in the French capital. Paris+ by Art Basel aims
to create bridges to other cultural industries - from fashion to music, architecture
and cinema - in order to build an emblematic fair that respects the identity of
Paris and its cultural scene.

At the end of September, the landscape designed by Philippe Parreno for the Rotonde de la Bourse de Commerce will disappear, making way for an immersive, cosmic and nocturnal work by the artist Anri Sala. Time No Longer (2021) is a video projected onto large curved screens - perfectly fitting the cylindrical shapes of the Rotonde. Anri Sala's work will also be displayed in the windows of the passage around the Rotunda and in the Galerie 2 space on the ground floor of the museum, as well as in the basement, along with iconic pieces by the artist from the Collection.

Born in Nanjing in 1946, Jiang Dahai is one of the major figures of abstraction in China. Successively trained at the Central Academy of Fine Arts of China in Beijing and in Paris at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, he spent twenty-two years in France before returning to China in 2008.
His pictorial practice is linked to both the landscape tradition of classical Chinese painting and that of Western abstraction. However, in a minimalist and monochrome inflection, he extends and profoundly renews the nature of the dialogue undertaken by the Chinese artists trained in Paris during the last century, such as Zao Wou-Ki and Chu Teh-Chun.
