Masterpieces of the MoMA

In 2001 and 2016, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York acquired more than 350 photographs from Thomas Walther. This Swiss collector had gathered an impressive body of work from the greatest artists of the first half of the 20th century, including El Lissitzky, Berenice Abbott, Alexander Rodthchenko, Edward Weston, Manuel Álvarez Bravo and Claude Cahun.
