This summer the Centre Pompidou is celebrating the 150th birthday of the great painter Georges Rouault (1871-1958). Under the title « Saintes Colères », taken from a letter by the artist to the writer André Suarès, this tribute brings together some twenty works from the collection of the Musée national d'art moderne. Thanks to successive donations from the Rouault family, it holds one of the most important collections of the painter's works in the world.
