For its 23rd edition, Art Paris reunites 140 modern and contemporary art galleries from around 20 countries around the world.
Art Paris supports the French art scene by associating each year with a curator’s gaze, a selection of specific projects presented by the galleries. This year, Hervé Mikhaeloff, independent curator, presents his vision, by bringing together twenty artworks on the theme of portraits and the renewal of figurative painting in France.
The art fair will also inaugurate the ephemeral Grand Palais on the Champ de Mars, a temporary structure conceived by Jean-Michel wilmotte, which will host the events that traditionally take place in the Grand Palais, until its reopening.
