Fondation Art Explora

Art Explora launched in September 2020, in collaboration with the Cité internationale des arts, a worldwide call for applications to select around twenty artists and researchers to come and work in Montmartre starting March 2021 for a residency of 3 to 6 months. The residents all defend a project that questions the links between art and science and the themes of scientific, technological, and world exploration through the promotion of emerging artistic scenes.
For this first edition, 25 artists, from very diverse geographical and artistic backgrounds, have been selected. The first 13 artists, Dineo Bopape, Akram Zaatari, Sara Ouhaddou, Mohssin Harraki, Maya Minder, Hamedine Kane, Mélanie Pavy, Sophie Houdart and Achraf Touloub, joined the foundation in early March.
