Hito Steyerl. I will survive

This retrospective brings together a collection of major works, articulated around a new production that imagines the future of the world in the age of social simulation technologies. It retraces a journey that began in the 1990s in the field of documentary cinema and which has been developing, over the past ten years, particularly inventive multimedia installations, dedicated to joyfully transforming the immersive nature of our visual culture into a space for reflection. Pointing out the failures and paradoxes of the image, Hito Steyerl experiments with new ways of talking about reality and critically addresses nationalism, capitalism and artificial intelligence.
