Giulia Andreani reuses personal memories and archival photographs through painting to address forgotten stories, often through a feminist prism. The main themes of Andreani’s practice include the position of women in society, motherhood, trauma and the forgotten figures of political history and art. The artist addresses the notions of historical amnesia and brings to light buried, specific and universal stories. Her work creates a dialogue with the past to make visible those invisible and prescient stories that can guide us into the future. Her artwork Cheminotes joined the collections of the Musée national d’art moderne in 2020 thanks to the amis du Centre Pompidou.

Graduated from the Ecole de design Nantes Atlantique in 2002, Ionna Vautrin has worked successively for Camper in Spain, for George J. Sowden in Italy and for Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec in France. She opened her own design studio in January 2011 after receiving the Grand Prize of creation of Paris. She collaborated with different brands and editors such as Foscarini, Moustache, Kvadrat, Christian Dior, Sancal, Lexon, Serralunga, SNCF, JCDecaux, Monoprix... Her work is at the crossroads of industry and poetry. She designs everyday objects whose ambition is to be both simple, obvious but yet startling. Her projects combine geometric and organic forms, a playful and colourful spirit, intuitive and functional uses, a warm and familiar presence.

KANAL - Centre Pompidou presents the second part of the exhibition It Never Ends, a wide-ranging carte blanche given to John M Armleder. Invited to invest the 6 floors of the Showroom of the former Citroën garage since September 2020, the Swiss artist presents a constellation of exhibitions, performances, concerts and encounters, in dialogue with a series of large-scale installations he has designed for the place, which will be presented to the public according to the current health situation.
