International Circle Central Europe
The IC-Central Europe is the only acquisition committee in France dedicated to the enrichment of modern and contemporary collections through the works of artists coming from Central Europe.
Inaugurated in 2017, its members enjoy:
- Rebooting history and reconnect with the acquisition trails laid down for the exhibition "Promesses du passé" in 2010, and to pursue the effort of building a coherent collection on the theme of the former Eastern Europe
- Meeting three times a year (in Basel and in Paris*) between Friends to complete the collections of the 60s, 70s, and 80s, especially of female artists hitherto neglected, while also acquiring works by contemporary emerging artists
- Promoting, through art, the vast cultural richness and variety of an artistic scene in full renewal
These advantages are designed in a hybrid way, they will be offered in physical or virtual format, depending on the context.
