Acquisition Group for the French Scene from the 1950s to the 1980s

In 2022, the Amis launch the Acquisition Group for the French Scene from the 1950s to the 1980s
to support French and foreign artists whose artistic practice was linked to France during this period. The Group's aim is to help enrich the Museum's collections by accompanying the curators on an adventure of rediscovery, following in the footsteps of a heritage that is only partially known.
Members of the Acquisition Group for the French Scene from the 1950s to the 1980s enjoy :
- Participating in the rediscovery of a part of art history
- Voting on forthcoming acquisitions at an annual committee meeting
- Experience the highlights of contemporary art in the company of international experts and artists likely to join the Museum's collections
- Enjoy a confidential setting to discover the treasures of the Centre Pompidou's reserves
- Benefit from a program of hybrid physical and digital encounters with a community of passionate art lovers
