Acquisition Group for Design

In 2016, the Acquisition Group for Design (GAD) was created in close collaboration with the Service design et prospective industrielle, whose collection brings together nearly 6,000 French and international pieces by over 400 designers.
It is aimed at enthusiastic amateurs wishing to participate in enriching the Musée National d'Art Moderne's design and industrial foresight collection, both historically and prospectively.
Industrial foresight reflects current research in resonance with innovative approaches, and in connection with digital technologies.
Becoming a GAD member means contributing to the enrichment of the Museum's collections through plenary voting sessions, and exchanging ideas with curators, the director of the museum, designers and design professionals. It means joining a community of committed patrons, while accessing to exclusive cultural content.
