The Zadkine Museum celebrates the centenary of Art Deco by highlighting the connections forged by the sculptor Ossip Zadkine with the decorative arts during the 1920s and 1930s. Through more than ninety works—sculptures as well as objects and furniture—the exhibition explores, for the first time, the relationships Zadkine maintained with leading Art Deco designers of the period, such as Eileen Gray and Marc du Plantier. It also underscores the shared sources of inspiration that link their respective creations.
