General Exhibition

General Exhibition traces forty years of contemporary art at the Fondation Cartier through a collection shaped over the course of its programming. By reactivating the social, cultural, and architectural heritage of its building and its engagement with the city, the exhibition sketches an alternative map of contemporary art and inaugurates a renewed approach to exhibition-making through its new architectural layout designed by Jean Nouvel.
