Since the 1970s, Annette Messager has developed an artistic practice in which everyday objects, humble materials, and references from popular culture engage in dialogue with more existential concerns. In this exhibition, her works resonate with the museum’s permanent collections, establishing a visual and symbolic dialogue around the animal world, perceived as a mirror of human passions, their excesses and ambiguities
