Georges Mathieu

Thanks to the Centre Pompidou, Georges Mathieu is exhibiting some forty paintings at the Monnaie de Paris, accompanied by numerous works on paper, medals, coins and minting tools. Mathieu's abstract images, which have become a signature style, have left their mark on the visual environment of his contemporaries, not only in paintings, but also in all the media of modernity.
