Edi Dubien, a self-taught French artist born in 1963, is known for his deeply poetic and moving works, which explore themes of identity, childhood and the relationship between man and nature. In his works, melancholy-looking children, animals and plants develop relationships of exchange, cooperation, metamorphosis and, certainly, consolation. Edi Dubien celebrates otherness and the freedom to be oneself.
