Wendy Andreu studied at the École Boulle in Paris before completing her training in 2016 at the Design Academy in Eindhoven in the Netherlands. While in confinement, the designer, who favours the slowness of working by hand, continued to explore materials and techniques. The "Dragon Chair" is a unique piece, made from a wooden mould onto which the designer randomly places rope, which she then covers with silicone. This method invented by Wendy Andreu is part of the research she has been carrying out since 2014 on the waterproof material Regen (‘rain’ in Dutch), which was an immediate success in both the furniture and fashion worlds.
