Major figure in American photography, Barbara Crane (1928-2019) has never ceased to explore photographic forms and techniques. The exhibition which is the first major monograph of the Chicago-born artist in Europe brings together over two hundred of her works, several of which have recently entered the collection of the Musée national d'art moderne. Barbara Crane's People of the North Portal was acquired by the Groupe d'Acquisition pour la Photographie in 2023.
