Born in 1996, Roxanne is a Cameroonian and French multidisciplinary artist from Guadeloupe. Working at the intersection of fashion, film, graphic design, photography, writing and performance, Roxanne is a storyteller. Her research revolves around the relationship between the lived, intimate body and the perceived body, which becomes a social receptacle for the projections of others. Through her installations, she questions, listens to and transcribes the voices of women with multiple identities.

With the creation of the Bonpoint Acquisition Fund to showcase children’s furniture, the Amis and Bonpoint were able, over a three-year period, to expand the largest collection of design objects for children, consisting of some 130 works from the early 20th century to the present day. Far more than mere miniature versions of adult furniture, children’s furniture has been the focus of multiple innovations, while embodying specific features: it’s fun, multifunctional, modular, and tells a narrative based on play. An exhibition will be held at the Centre Pompidou in 2024 to present this unique collection, followed by other exhibitions in France and abroad.

The third Reiffers Art Initiatives Prize exhibition brings together 5 emerging artists on the contemporary scene: Majd Abdel Hamid, Alex Ayed, Clédia Fourniau, Garance Früh and Aïcha Snoussi. Curated by Vittoria Matarrese, former artistic director of Villa Medici in Rome and former curator at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, now director of the Bally Foundation in Switzerland, the exhibition will bring together the works of the five artists selected by the artistic committee to compete for the Reiffers Art Initiatives Prize.
