From the Belle Époque to the Roaring Twenties, Paris continues to attract artists from all over the world. The City of Lights is both a capital at the heart of innovation and the focus of formidable cultural influences. The exhibition features some 400 works, many of them part of the collections of the Musée national d'art moderne. Through fashion, cinema, photography, painting, sculpture and drawing, as well as dance, design, architecture and industry, the exhibition brings to life the wild creativity of the years 1905-1925.
