Victor Burgin made a name for himself in the late 1960s with his contributions to the first museum exhibitions at the birth of conceptual art. His work explores the relationships between still images, moving images and words, most often in their narrative and semiological functions. The exhibition at the Jeu de Paume presents a selection of works ranging from his work combining text and photographic images to his current production of videos using 3D digital modeling.
