As a student at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (but not a graduate!), Hervé Di Rosa began selling his paintings in 1979. In 1981, he co-founded the Figuration Libre movement. Gradually, he diversified his artistic approaches through contact with craftsmen on a world tour. Without claiming a particular style, but by developing a narrative universe of his own, populated by recurring characters, he has practiced all creative techniques. In 2000, he founded the Musée international des arts modestes (MIAM) in Sète, where he exhibits works by artists from all over the world and creates exhibitions that question the boundaries of contemporary art.

Vera Molnár, who passed away on December 7, 2023 at the age of 99, was a pioneer of digital art. Her career, exceptional for its longevity and creativity, is presented here through an important group of works (paintings, drawings, photographs, wall installations) and a selection of her diaries, preserved in public collections, and in large part at the Musée national d'art moderne, thanks to the artist's generosity.
