Toucher terre, l'art de la sculpture céramique

The Espace Monte-Cristo presents its new exhibition of over 50 ceramics by French and international artists on the theme of the earth, featuring a selection of works from the Villa Datris Foundation Collection. The exhibition invites us to set off on a voyage of discovery through matter, immersed in a primitive forest home to a variety of animal and plant species, to encounter creatures inspired by nature, mythology and fairy tales. From the bowels of the earth as an archaeological witness to our civilization, to the intimacy of the workshop where accident and control, chance and luck reign, the ceramics reveal their strengths and weaknesses.
