The series of 38 paper prints Turning Inwards Set #3, which the artist Louise Bourgeois made between 2006 and 2009 in collaboration with Benjamin Shiff of Osiris Editions, is held in the collections of the Musée national d'art moderne thanks to a deposit from the American Friends of the Centre Pompidou in 2021. The series, even in its entirety, has not yet been thoroughly researched. What is the history of this late production and collaboration? What themes appear in Turning Inwards Set #3 and how can this series be understood within the work of Louise Bourgeois? In order to answer these questions, it is necessary to carry out an original research on the historical conditions, the plastic choices and the themes of production.
