Now recognised as one of the great figures of French design, François Azambourg, inventor as well as poet, is very much in touch with the ecological issues of our time, and is in a perpetual quest for lightness, economy of means and sobriety. His creative approach is open and unrestrained. In a world that is increasingly greedy for objects and products, it is the long process of experimentation that nourishes his work.
