A major figure in architecture, often considered a leader of the so-called "high-tech" movement, the British architect Norman Foster has signed many iconic projects around the world. Drawings, workbooks, models and prototypes provide an insight into some one hundred projects, both in architecture and design. All of these projects bear witness to his overall systemic understanding of nature and technology, reconciling technological progress with a sustainable ecological approach.

"Moviment" invites the public to experience a concentrate of the Centre Pompidou's utopia: the visual arts mingle with cinema, performance, music, speech... In the same constantly changing space, works from the collection, encounters, screenings, workshops, shows and performances are presented side by side. Since 1977, the Centre Pompidou's ambition has been to bring together all the ways of encountering creation, understanding it, and taking part in it, in the dream of a monument in motion: a "moviment". In 1930, Matisse left France for a trip to Tahiti, thus voluntarily marking a pause in his creation, and initiating a turning point in his work. The exhibition Matisse. Cahiers d'art, le tournant des années 1930 looks back at this decisive decade. The exhibition looks at Matisse's work in the 1930s through the prism of Cahiers d'art, the major avant-garde journal created by Christian Zervos in 1926. As the voice of international modernism and the aesthetic currents of his time, the magazine reports on the artist's production throughout the inter-war period.
