Lyricist, composer, director and novelist, Serge Gainsbourg (1928-1991) was deeply influenced by literature and poetry, sources of inspiration for many songs. He was also a great collector of small papers, autographs and paperolles. Gathering for the first time a large number of his manuscripts and typescripts, as well as part of his very diverse library, this exhibition sheds light on the origins of his work, his relationship to writing and reading.
