Since the mid-1960s, ORLAN has continued to question the body, its identities and the pressures it undergoes, diversifying her approaches by multiplying the forms of creation. Photography, installation, video, drawing, sculpture and, of course, performance allow her to turn the body, her body, into a work of art. Political, feminist and committed, her creations never cease to surprise by their originality and their audacity. A body of her work was acquired by the amis in 2022 during the annual dinner.
