Shocking ! The surreal worlds of Elsa Schiaparelli

The Musée des Arts Décoratifs honors the daring and inspiring work of Italian designer Elsa Schiaparelli, whose inspiration was nourished by a privileged relationship with the artists of the Parisian avant-garde of the 1920s and 1930s. Nearly 20 years after the retrospective devoted to her in 2004, the museum wanted to revisit her work in order to help the public rediscover her innovative fantasy, her taste for spectacle and her artistic modernity.
