The amis invite you to a visit to the August Sander exhibition on the occasion of its closing. This will be the last opportunity to see this major exhibition, which will close after this tour. Photographer August Sander's masterpiece Men of the 20th Century establishes the motif of a cross-section through a society as a 'show within a show' as a structural principle, with the two perspectives working together to open up a broad panorama of German art of the late 1920s. The multidisciplinary exhibition is structured in eight thematic sections, which are linked to the socio-cultural groups and categories created by August Sander.
