Formerly salesman in a flee market, François Laffanour is one of the most ardent promoters of 20th century architectural furniture. He specialises in the works of Charlotte Perriand, Serge Mouille, Jean Prouvé and Le Corbusier, which he presents in the Downtown gallery. 
After a tour of the gallery, friends will go to François Laffanour's home for a drink in the heart of his collection.

The author of a protean work, by turns mysterious and literal, León Ferrari's (1920-2013) formal rigor equals his subversive power, constantly seeking to warn about the process by which art embellishes and trivializes violence - a mechanism he called "amiable cruelty" (bondadosa crueldad).
In his practice, drawing and sculpture respond to and enrich each other. The techniques of montage and collage, the use of all types of materials allow him to denounce the violence of the Western liberal world in deliberately iconoclastic compositions.
