L’exposition The Thinking Body, à ce jour la plus importante de l’œuvre de Cathy Josefowitz (1956–2014), présente l’ensemble de la production de l’artiste, dans laquelle peintures et dessins dialoguent avec son travail chorégraphique. Toute sa vie, Josefowitz n’a cessé de déconstruire la hiérarchie entre arts dramatiques et arts plastiques : à travers des réalisations dont les dimensions et l’expression reflètent l’étendue et l’impact de son propre corps, son œuvre incarne la réconciliation de deux mediums que l’histoire de l’art a souvent considérés comme disjoints.
