Liv Schulman is the winner of the 20th Prize Fondation d’entreprise Ricard, awarded on the occasion of the exhibition The Twentieth Fondation d’entreprise Ricard Prize, curated by Neïl Beloufa in September 2018. Liv Schulman observes how contemporary societies alienate individuals and social groups. The words at the heart of her pieces explore the place of subjectivity within the political sphere, and the difficulty of giving it credit.
Rebecca Topakian developed a work deeply rooted in the field of images, enriched by others mediums. Through books and installations that always pay great attention to the way it is showed, she tries to produce a photographic work which de-qualifies the subject and is anti-narrative, playing with the aesthetics of documentary and more poetic and intimist forms.
