François Azambourg

In the company of Curator Marie-Ange Breyer

Meet the French designer François Azambourg, who was the artistic director of our gala dinner this year. François Azambourg explores the expressive potential of manufacturing processes and material shapings, whether industrial or artisanal, innovative or traditional. He dedicates his work to exploring the connection between techniques and art, constantly searching for an economy of means and lightness. For the dinner, a unique series of Blue Douglas vases was blown at the Centre International d’Art Verrier. An edition of this Vase is currently entering the Centre Pompidou Collection. Signed and numbered editions of the Blue Douglas Vase is are on sale for the benefit of the collections of the Musée National d’Art Moderne (480€ TTC).
