Brancusi Studio

Visit lead by Assistant Curator Doina Lemny

Having laid emphasis his entire life to the relation between sculptures and the space that surrounds them, Constantin Brancusi created a space of paramount importance within his own studio in 1910 to best appreciate the “groupes mobiles”, a set of works designed to highlight the variety of possible connections within his range of works. His creation is visible in the incredible reconstruction of the studio was achieved and attached to the Centre Pompidou by Renzo Piano in 1977. After the visit, a drink will be offered to celebrate the new year.
